A Glorious Mayday

Yesterday was the First of May and it was a beautiful sunny spring day! And the Town Council and local schools had organised, as is the tradition, dancing around the maypole. I enjoyed meeting all the parents, grandparents and friends who turned up to watch the children dance. It was lovely to shake the hands of some of the children too and welcome them to our village green by the church.

Thank you to all the children and the teachers who made this happen and thank you to everyone who turned up to applaud them. Such a delightful morning!
